Years before he learned to transfix a crowd — first as a trophy-winning college football athlete, then as the GRAMMY-nominated, platinum-selling songwriter behind projects like NEEDTOBREATHE and Wilder Woods — Bear Rinehart spent hours at his grandmother's house, captivated by the odd keepsakes in her curio cabinet. He gathers together a similar collection of personal influences with Curioso, his third album as Wilder Woods. It’s a genre-bending mix of anthemic American music, exploring everything from slow-cooked soul to atmospheric indie-folk to stomping, four-on-the-floor rock & roll. Holding that all-encompassing sound together is the enthusiasm of a longtime songwriter who’s still eager to stretch his legs and cover new ground. Rinehart hasn't just established his own sound; he's moved beyond it, too. Curioso is his own curio cabinet: a curated showcase of the influences and experiences that have shaped him as a musician, placed on public display for the whole world to hear.

HAFFWAY is the artist half of producer/writer Sam Westhoff. HAFFWAY lives in a space somewhere between folk and indie alternative with a touch of cynicism. In the grand scheme of things, HAFFWAY started by accident. Sam, being a producer and writer, found that after years of helping other artists develop and find themselves (as well as starting a couple short lived solo projects himself), he felt creatively tapped. Songwriting was cheaper than therapy, so there you have it. The first track he wrote to help him process some of what was going on in his mental category was a song called “I Don’t Need You Anymore”. Once the song was printed, it started to click that this could be a new road to go down. 8 months later, HAFFWAY’s debut EP “Prequel” was released. As you can expect, the producer/writer half of Sam started having more artists that aligned with HAFFWAY showing up at his door. This is a good thing. Change scene to Nashville summer of 2023 - Sam found himself balancing between HAFFWAY and producing/writing with other artists, both local Nashvillians and national cats.

2024 has seen very successful thus far for the HAFFWAY project. After 3 single releases in Bells, Burden, and Whatever Hes On; HAFFWAY released his highly anticipated sophmore EP, Lady Lou. With it came the focus track Home For The Weekend accompanied by much demanded music video shot and edited by Sam’s brother Hugh. With a TIDAL Official Artist to Watch under his belt, support slots cemented for the rest of the year, and a blossoming writers project, safe to say Sam and his HAFFWAY project are taking over.
