Multi Ultra is an independent, alternative rock band hailing from Nashville, TN, composed of Derrick Wesley on vocals, Nolan Brown on guitar, Chris Bevacqua on bass, and Chrystian Kaplan on drums. Their musical journey has been marked by notable achievements, starting with their victory in Lightning 100's Music City Mayhem Competition in April 2023, where they were also chosen as Local Artist of the Week. Additionally, their single, "Switch It Up," earned the coveted title of Lightning 100's DJ Pick of the Week in June 2022

 

Multi Ultra further solidified their presence in the Nashville music scene when they were voted into the Top 3 Best Bands in Nashville Scene's Best Of Nashville in 2022 and 2023. Their melodic prowess has earned them airplay on 102.9 The Buzz in Nashville, 91.9 WFPK in Louisville, KY, and  88.3 WXOU in Detroit, MI. Local publications such as The Tennessee Tribune and Nashville Tour Stop have also featured them, cementing their growing reputation as a promising musical force.  Influenced by bands like Cage the Elephant, The Killers, Blink 182, and White Reaper, Multi Ultra creates a captivating fusion of sound that takes audiences on an engaging journey of thoughts and emotions with each new release. 

 

Teaming up with producer Tim Craven, they had the privilege of recording at the renowned Blackbird Studio in Nashville, adding a touch of prestige to their music. In 2023, the band collaborated with Tim Craven once again, producing their latest single, "Move," from the comfort of their own home studio in Nashville. With more singles slated for release in 2024, Multi Ultra is taking Nashville by storm, delivering energetic live performances that leave their audience craving for more. Luke Schneider

A session and touring veteran of Nashville’s indie and DIY music scenes since the 1990’s, Luke Schneider is a pedal steel guitarist who has worked with a variety of artists including Margo Price, Orville Peck, S.G. Goodman, William Tyler, Phosphorescent, and Peter One. His debut solo album of ambient New Age music created entirely on pedal steel, ‘Altar of Harmony,’ was released by Third Man Records in 2020. In 2023 he released an EP mixed in immersive Dolby Atmos spacial audio titled ‘It is Solved by Walking’.
