Mabel Byrne is a 16 year old high school sophomore from New York City (via Irish descent), making her world singer/songwriter Nashville debut at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville with her easeful alt-folk, country vibe. Her musical influences include Glen Campbell, Ashley Cooke, Wallows, Lainey Wilson, and a host of songwriting luminaries across the music spectrum. Mabel’s newly formed four piece rock band “For The Time Being” made their debut as the Closing Act, at NYC’s legendary rock venue The Bitter End, in the sold out Kids Rock For Kids Benefit Concert all day event “For Those Affected By The L.A. Wildfires,” with proceeds going to L.A. Fire Aid.
Mabel will be joined on stage by Greg Camp. Greg is a multi Award winning American Grammy nominated Songwriter, Film Music Composer, and Music Producer. Best known as the founding guitarist and primary songwriter for the rock band Smashmouth (1994-2008), Camp is a 8x Platinum Award artist, with an estimated worldwide record sales of 15 million, has had music placed in over 40 films, more than 2,600 episodic television shows, and 1,600+ commercials. Greg serves as President of the music publishing entity Seavolt Sound, and owns all-in-house film composing and music supervision company The Music Branch Inc.
Tonight’s event marks Mabel and Greg’s collaborative live debut.
