A R I Z O N A

With over one billion worldwide streams and counting, the New Jersey trio A R I Z O N A – Nathan Esquite [guitar], David Labuguen [keys], and Zachary Charles [lead vocals]– has proven a true planetary phenomenon, creating worldwide waves with a stunning torrent of genre-traversing ideas and a boundless sense of style. Their debut album GALLERY emerged among 2017’s biggest global releases, boasting 750M+ worldwide streams. The LP showcases a stunning collection of hit singles, among them “Electric Touch,” “I Was Wrong,” and the RIAA Gold-certified “Oceans Away.” In addition, A R I Z O N A can be heard on Avicii’s “Hold The Line (Feat. A R I Z O N A),” from the late artist’s posthumous album, TIM. 2019’s ASYLUM saw them brilliantly and boldly build on this foundation with “Freaking Out,” “Nostalgic,” “Problems,” “Where You Are,” and more. The group returned in 2022 with “Heart So Big,” a collaboration with Norwegian DJ and producer Matoma, co-written with A R I Z O N A’s longtime collaborator PJ Bianco as a love letter to his son with autism. To kick off 2023, A R I Z O N A unveiled their much-anticipated original new single “Moving On,” hinting at an exciting year ahead, with much more music coming soon.

Moody Joody does not fit in any boring box — nor would they want to. Equal parts swoony, sexy, and, well, moody, the Nashville trio is all about “owning your humanness,” according to Kayla Hall (lead singer, keys). “For us as women, it’s about the good, the bad — everything that comes under that feminine archetype.” And all those archetypes collide into a glorious dance party on Dream Girl, their debut EP, which drops November 8th via Photo Finish Records. A “girl group” — plus one guy — forged in the competitive fires of the Nashville music scene, Moody Joody is a perfect mixing and mingling of the trio’s eclectic experiences and tastes. Kaitie Forbes (guitar, vocals) brings the indie edge; Hall comes from a country/classic rock background; and the lone dude, Andrew Pacheco (producer, keys) loves the Counting Crows, Tegan and Sara, Dashboard Confessional, and Carly Rae Jepsen in equal measure. At first, they were on a mission to become “a girl Bleachers,” according to Forbes, before finding their signature, ‘80s-tinged, super-fun sound with help from Shawn Mendes collaborator Scott Harris. Leading up to the release of this suite of songs — an exploration of all those female archetypes dappled in synthy sun — the trio will hit the road in support of MisterWives this fall. In the meantime, though, Moody Joody is happy riding the proverbial wave. “Our stage show is all about having fun — lots of laughs and interacting with each other,” says Forbes. “We're excited to bring some fresh energy to our audience — high-energy fun. We want the crowd to have the time of their lives.” Something tells us they won’t disappoint.
