Working with partners like Lyft is another way of ensuring our guests have the best live music experience possible, from door to door. One of the things that excites us most about working with Lyft is their Round Up & Donate program. Riders have the opportunity to opt in and have their fares rounded up to the nearest dollar and donated to a cause of their choice. A simple way to make a difference while you're on the go!
Here's a few of our favorites that they're currently working with:
Health Alliance for Austin Musicians:
Health Alliance for Austin Musicians, also known as HAAM, provides musicians access to affordable healthcare. Austin, Texas is mecca for musicians, troubadours, and self-employed artists alike. HAAM gives them the support they need so they can continue to perform, while having everyday health insurance woes taken care of. Since 2005, HAAM has helped over 4,000 musicians with dental appointments, doctors check-ups, specialty screenings, and everything in between. The show must go on in Austin, and it always does with incredible support of HAAM. Help a musicians in need and donate on your next Lyft ride to Brooklyn Bowl!
New Chance: Arts and Literature Fund:
Founded by the one and only Chance the Rapper, Social Works' New Chance program gives back through arts, eduction, and leadership within the youth community throughout Chicago. Chance is "committed to giving the kids as much as we can." And that he is! Having raised over $2.2 million already, New Chance is providing schools with the materials and programs they need to succeed.
