RECAP: Phil Lesh and The Terrapin Family Band on FEB 12 + 13 at Brooklyn Bowl New York
Posted On Tuesday, February 14th
The one and only Phil Lesh, founding bassist of the Grateful Dead, commanded Brooklyn Bowl the last two nights, backed by Terrapin Crossroad’s own Terrapin Family Band. The guys played through several hits from the songbook the Grateful Dead along with gorgeous covers by Bob Dylan, The Velvet Underground and more. It was the perfect way to dance away the night this time of the year and the energy was fantastic. Brooklyn’s own Scott Metzer even showed up to lend some licks to “Viola Lee Blues.” Miss out? Want to relive the beauty? We luckily had Marc Millman, Steven Olker, Matt Heasley and John Wisdom on hand both nights who have shared the lovely photos below for your pleasure. We’ll see you next month when Phil and the boys return on March 12 and 13!
