Kick Off the Weekend with RAQ and Tauk at Brooklyn Bowl on Friday Night

As RAQ, Jay Burwick (bass and vocals), Chris Michetti (guitar and vocals), Todd Stoops (keys and vocals), and Adrian Tramantano (drums and vocals) have been winning over jamband fans with their progressive psychedelic rock and high-energy live shows for more than a decade. Currently on an East Coast swing, the Vermont band (below, doing “Wax” for Relix) comes to Brooklyn Bowl on Friday night with the like-minded Tauk. Matt Jalbert (guitar), Charlie Dolan (bass), Alric “A.C.” Carter (keys), and Isaac Teel (drums) fuse funk, rock, hip-hop, and jazz into their own eclectic brand of instrumental rock. The New York City four-piece (below, performing “Collateral” for TourGigs) just put out a live double album, Headroom (stream it below). And they’re looking to celebrate its release on Friday night.
