January 26 Is One of the Best Days in Freaks Ball History

On January 26 in 2012 and 2013, Joe Russo, Marco Benevento, Scott Metzger, and Dave Dreiwitz astonished us with their unforgettably earth-shattering tributes at Brooklyn Bowl.
In 2012, Bustle in Your Hedgerow rocked our worlds for Freaks Ball-Stars as they paid tribute to Led Zeppelin with impressive instrumentations. Joined by Warren Haynes and Eric Krasno, this elite lineup of rock all-stars inspired us as they rambled on through incredible Zeppelin classics.
On January 26, 2013, Joe Russo, Marco Benevento, Scott Metzger, and Dave Dreiwitz were accompanied by close friend and accomplished bassist Tom Hamilton to pay tribute to the Grateful Dead for Freaks Ball XIII. They called it “Almost Dead,” making it the first night and birthdate of the acclaimed Joe Russo’s Almost Dead.
January 26 marks a very special day for all of us here at Brooklyn Bowl, and we hope it does the same for you. Cheers to Freaks Ball memories and many more to come.
